Building Capacity to Develop River Crossing Plans in the Merrimack River Watershed
Recipient: New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services
Grant Amount: $997,700
This award will empower environmental stakeholders to create a robust, multi-benefit pipeline of stream crossing projects in New Hampshire’s coastal watersheds. The project will result in a pipeline of at least 10 restoration projects to expand habitat for native species including American eel, brook trout and American shad, while mitigating flood risk from a 100-year storm event.
