This award will develop final plans utilizing ahupuaʻa, a land division roughly equivalent to a watershed, to address flooding and erosion risk in several watersheds of Maunalua Bay, O‘ahu, Hawai‘i. The project will use green infrastructure solutions to reduce runoff and adapt streams to mimic natural flow in order to reduce flooding and erosion.
